Alright, now for the fun stuff! General Likes~ 

• Hurt/Comfort is my favorite thing in the world--put my faves through the wringer and then patch them up, and I will love you forever. ♡ That said, I also love fussing over the little things: paper cuts and bruises, snifflefic, that sort of thing. There's something luxuriously satisfying about a neglected/abused character being treasured so much that even minor problems are cared for, don't you think? Also, touch-starvation tropes are especially welcome. :D 

• Big Dramatic Rescues: Related to H/C but worth mentioning because I genuinely LOVE rescues. I love the drama of characters charging in despite the odds, the intensity of feelings, the fear and relief... Look, it is absolutely not a coincidence that my favorite visual novel characters cannot stay in their lane and will show up to rescue the protagonist even when it's not their route.  

• Dark Content: I do prefer my yandere romance to be darkly seductive and disturbingly mutual, but feel free to go wild with canon-typical violence, gore, themes, and tragic endings! Romantic character death is a plus.

• Warm and Sleepy Fluff: Cozy and quietly intimate stories about taking naps together, reading, baking, taking baths...  I adore the sweet stuff,  too.  

Diabolik Lovers
Group: Azusa Mukami/Yui Komori 
Mediums: Fanart or Fanfic

 
Yui Komori faces one of the most brutal scenarios in otome gaming. She suffers so much and tries so hard to be kind, despite the ridicule and abuse she gets for her trouble. I love her, and Azusa's route utterly satisfied the hurt/comfort addict in me! They're both very kind and very wounded, and to see them fall into sweet, soothing love was amazing. 

I love how they build each other up instead of tearing each other down. I love that Azusa always believes Yui deserves to be happy, no matter what, even if it's not his route. I love that he'll go to the mat to protect her, even if she's not his. I love how utterly earnest and friendly he is - yes, Azusa's initial attempts to be nice to Yui are... deeply misguided, to say the least... but he's been in one big long redemption arc ever since. He's come so far with Yui!

I think their relationship is beautiful. 

• Hurt/Comfort: I love it when Azusa comforts Yui. I love it when Yui comforts Azusa. I love that the comfort goes both ways between these two!! It's the best! Some good stuff I like:

• Yui intervening when Azusa self-harms: A classic between these two, but a good one. I like how compassionate Yui is - even when Azusa scares her, she can't ignore someone in pain.

• Consent Issues:  Azusa genuinely sought out abuse due to his low self-worth and desire to be useful/wanted if not conventionally loved; Yui was the plaything of vampires, but she tried to mollify them and their tempers to avoid their abuse. For all their similarities, they naturally have very different perspectives on what happened to them. Azusa in particular has trouble understanding that physical reactions – shame and pleasure – aren’t consent. (It’s not like anyone asked for permission before they beat him...) Poking that chasm could have fascinating results.

• Yui’s Regrets: In More Blood, Azusa himself sacrifices an arm to be with her--does she feel guilty? Dark Fate shows Azusa worrying about how she'll see him, but does she ever wonder if Azusa will tire of her, blame her, or regret his choice? 

• Bondage: Azusa's massive thing for keeping Yui completely still and immersed in the sensations he gives her is a huge draw for me, I have to admit. Anything playing with restraints--particularly if they're chained to each other--would be awesome.

• How to be a Good Boyfriend: I love the recurring scenario of Azusa trying to learn how to be Yui's Prince Charming~ and keeping things heart-pounding♡ exciting so she'll keep liking him. In Dark Fate and Lost Eden, we know Azusa goes to Kou for romantic advice, so a story where Azusa gets bad advice would be fun! What would happen if he read Cosmo for romantic tips? 

• Fancy Dresses: Azusa and Yui have been to multiple balls in their casual clothes and school uniforms. Isn't this tragic!?And the one time they did and Azusa got a tux CG, we couldn't see Yui's dress ;__; 
• Prince & Princess: Azusa's Prince Thing from Lost Eden felt like a gift just for me, and I would love anything that incorporates it.
• Pick a Vampire Ending, and I will love it: picnics, flower crowns, making out in wedding clothes, scrapbooking, them and their kids... 
• Spending Time Together: Yui reading in her room, Azusa watching? (I love that Dark Fate heaven scenario!)
• I've always thought that if Azusa had a potion that could make them into conjoined twins, HE WOULD BE SO TEMPTED. He wants to be ~one with Yui~  so... Something a bit gruesome like being stitched or melted together would be cool, too! ♡
• Vampire!Yui biting Azusa as he bites her, the way he dreamed?  
• Bondage: Azusa sure loves his handcuffs and chains and bandage bondage, huh? 
• Bedtime: AzuYui cuddling in bed ♡♡♡

Fandom: Togainu no Chi

I really love Nano. I love the juxtaposition of how intelligent and thoughtful he is, and how he's missing a lot of basic knowledge and skills. The perfect emotionless living weapon, the Nicole Premier--and he tries to eat plastic wrap. Wonderful!

• Pre-game Nano reacting to the world outside of ENED? 
• Anything from Nano's past
• ... tree bark is not the only thing he eats, right? Right?!  
• What happens to Nano after all the endings where he gets left in the rain? :( 

I forgot to edit my signup to include this ship, but NanoAki is an OTP~ I love Akira and Nano's weird, soothing connection. I love how devoted Nano is to Akira, in a quiet way--the freedom to yearn is the only thing Nano thinks he has left, and that yearning is for Akira's happiness. I love how Akira always empathizes with Nano, even when everyone else sees an emotionless killing machine.  

• Post-route anything would be a delight! How do they get out of Japan? How does Nano reach the point where he vows to never kill again and scars his hands? How does Akira react to that? Does the constant running ever make them fight over petty things? How do these emotionally awkward guys make up?  

• Second Time: In the game, their sex scene was not consensual; how would the next time go? (Top!Akira would be awesome!)

• Scars: Underneath Nano's bland clothes is a great deal of brutal scarring--how does Akira handle seeing the true extent for the first time?

• Time to Dye: So when exactly did Nano start dyeing his hair? How did that go? Does Akira help?

• Bad End Reversal: In the manga, Akira almost ended up in an Arbitro ending, but Nano broke into Vischio's palace and rescued him. I think it'd be cool to see that adapted for the game's bad endings--for example, Nano collecting pet!Akira and maybe Kau?

• Fluff: Nano and Akira finding cats wherever they go? ^^

• Cooking Mayhem: Akira lives off of solids and Nano appears to not understand food beyond tree bark, so their adventures in the kitchen should be fun!  

• (gen) What if I took his hand: How about a canon-divergence AU where Akira and Nano did go on the run as a child and a teenage living weapon? 

• Proper Safety Procedures for Superweapons - Akira noticing how Nano keeps dirty bandages mingled with clean ones in his first aid kit was a detail that stuck with me. ENED did their best to keep Nano ignorant in strange ways, didn't they? He reads complex books and thinks about philosophy--but he hasn't been taught how to take care of himself. I think it'd be fun to see Akira try to fill the holes. 

• Kitties: Nano with the two cats that love him (and Akira? ^^ )

• Nano's Final Stand: If you want me to cry and flail at you, bloody Nano in the rain is the fastest way to do it. 

• Anything with Nano's scars - Akira seeing/touching them, Nano considering them... 

• Nano's past with ENED as an experiment or as a weapon...

Fandom: Harvest Moon: Back to Nature

Okay, no lie: Cliff has been one of my biases since HM64. I have been besotted with him since the day he showed up and passed out on my farm from hunger, and then later gave me a fish. I have since then married him in every game where it's possible~~

Mineral Town/BTN Cliff is my absolute favorite, too! He's so sad and shy and nice, I just want to hug him... 

• Snow Scene: Anything exploring this heartbreaking scene, how he felt during/before/after, fleshing out his backstory with his mother and sister... Cliff hints at so much sorrow in his past, and we don't learn much about it.

• You're Hired! - What if Cliff did take the farmer's offer to hire him? Free room and board at a farm would probably be better than burning through your savings by staying at the Inn, right? What would Cliff be like a roommate? What if they end up sharing a bed because there's not a lot of room in the early days... :D

• Cooking for Claire: Cliff can cook but he has no kitchen + Cliff thinks Claire is adorable when she eats or drinks =  this would be such a cute setup for fluff~~~

• No Winery: What happens to Cliff after he leaves town to find work somewhere else? What would it be like if he ever returned to this town of missed opportunities...?
   
• Aja's Return: I have been wondering about this for So Long. Does Aja even know he's inheriting the winery, and if she doesn't, if she ever did return-? I'm more interested in Cliff's reaction to Aja, and how her return effects his relationship with Duke and Manna, than in Aja as a character. Would Cliff feel insecure or out of place? Would Manna really try matchmaking Cliff and her daughter?

• Starry Night - The classic date night! I favor Cliff/Claire or Cliff/Jack as ships, but basically anything is wonderful - Cliff, Duke, and Manna's celebration? - because I love this sweet festival.  

• Blue Feather - Need I say more? :D
• Cliff and animals would be cute!
• Cliff working with Duke in the winery
• Listening to one of Carter's weird sermons :D

• Kindred Spirits: I would say my biggest narrative kink is for misfits, outcasts, and other wounded people to find love and understanding, especially with someone in similar circumstances. It comes up with most of my ships, but I thought it worth mentioning because anything that taps that emotional vein will be a huge delight!  

• Holiday fic! Christmas dates are a big romantic thing in Japan, I hear, so feel free to use that. Or just-- Snow! Winter! Santa! Gingerbread houses and orange pomanders and all the fun things you do to spread that festive spirit! A lot of the characters I love had sad lives, so I think there's a lot of mileage in exploring their first time celebrating the holidays.

• Magical Chaos: Love potions and other magic spells! Characters magically transforming into something cute--their child self, an animal, etc! Curses or hexes that start transforming people into plants, or glass, or something else, etc.  

• Dark Content: I do prefer my yandere romance to stick to darkly seductive and disturbingly mutual allure, but feel free to go wild with canon-typical violence, gore, themes, and tragic endings! Romantic character death is a plus.

Diabolik Lovers
Characters: Azusa Mukami and Yui Komori 

These two are so weird and intense about each other, and yet strangely fluffy and cute? They make me so happy! I love how their relationship has such a fragile, healing quality... and I really like how they're sad kindred spirits who comfort each other. I am admittedly very ridiculously devoted to them as a pairing, so please no non-con anything here, just to be safe.  

• Hurt/Comfort: Yui is the safest, kindest person who has ever touched Azusa, and he’s desperate to protect her. I enjoy it when Yui gets hurt or sick and Azusa has to take care of her or vice versa, but Mutual Hurt/Comfort is also lovely! They both have scars, so anything like reassuring touch or kisses would be sweet ♡ Or, because their pasts are rough--nightmares, something that plays with fears of being unworthy, or going back to the dark life they had before each other…

•   Yui intervening when Azusa self-harms: A classic between these two, but a good one. I like how compassionate Yui is - even when Azusa scares her, she can't ignore someone in pain. Besides, playing the later games, I ultimately came to see Azusa as a really confused sadist with a self-injury problem and not a real masochist, so I like that he does stop self-harming. 

• Consent Issues:  Azusa genuinely sought out abuse due to his low self-worth and desire to be useful/wanted if not conventionally loved; Yui was the plaything of vampires, but she tried to mollify them and their tempers to avoid their abuse--they will have very different perspectives on what happened to them. Poking that chasm could have fascinating results.

• With the Family: The Mukamis are my favorite family, so their interactions are a treat! Could they drag Yui along to a family outing? I would be especially delighted if you involved the underworld in some way--VC and LP left me thirsty for more of that setting! 

• Yui’s Regrets: Azusa sacrifices an arm to be with her--does she feel guilty? Canon shows Azusa worrying, but does she ever wonder if Azusa will tire of her, blame her, and regret his choice? 

• Vampire Juice, weird mushrooms, and love potions are canon in this series, so please feel free to have fun with that~! I love the wacky tone of the bonus CDs and fandisks. In a more dark direction, I've always thought that if Azusa had a potion that could make them into conjoined twins, HE WOULD BE SO TEMPTED. He wants to be ~one with Yui~  so... Something a bit gruesome like being melted together would be cool, too! ♡

• Bondage: Azusa's massive thing for keeping Yui completely still and immersed in the sensations he gives her is a huge draw for me. His blindfold kink is great, and he's basically the Designated Bondage Guy in merch these days too, lol. Anything playing with restraints--particularly if they're chained to each other--would be awesome.

• Medical kink: Back in MB, Azusa talked about how, when Yui became a vampire, they could drink from each other and exchange all the blood in their bodies. What if Azusa and Yui hooked up to a machine and really did that? Medical anything, really, would be interesting. Bandages! Stitches! A stethoscope on Yui's heartbeat! Nurse cosplay!  

• How to be a Good Boyfriend: I love the recurring theme of Azusa trying to learn how to be Yui's Prince Charming~ and keeping things heart-pounding♡ exciting so she'll keep liking him. What would happen if he read women's magazines for tips? Canonically, Azusa goes to Kou for romantic advice, so a story where Azusa gets bad advice would be fun!  

...Narrowing down prompts for these two was hard. Anything would make me happy, honestly. There is so much available: any of Azusa's Good Endings, (including the one where, ah, Yui murdered her own father to protect Azusa - how does that shake out later!?), Yui becoming a vampire (it's Azusa's fault and I can't tell if he did it on purpose!), spooky ghost story stuff, cute fluff--it all works. Somehow. AzuYui is magical.

• Exorcist Training - What if Lindo decided to train Ritsuka? Or what if Ritsuka demanded to be trained? What would he be like as a teacher? Even post-anime, she may not be the Grimoire anymore but she's still living in a dangerous world with vampires and devils. 

• BANDAGE LINDO - Okay, this is more of an image of a prompt but Ritsuka bandaging Lindo up was a very strong image in the anime! Hurt/comfort with these two would be delightful. 

• What Lindo Does At Night - He fights off vampires who try to attack their house at night, but Ritsuka has no idea-- what if she found out?

• Apron Time - How CUTE was Lindo when he wore Ritsuka's apron? Something with cooking between these two would be a delight.

• A Day in the Death - In the game, there's a bad ending where Ritsuka dies, Lindo breaks, and he starts taking care of her corpse like she's still alive--teasing her, feeding it, etc. A story exploring that ending would be great! 

• Childhood scenes - A cute scene with them as children - or a heartbreaking scene where Ritsuka worries about her big brother?  

• Lindo in Europe, Ritsuka in Japan - Character study about their separation during his Exorcist training would be awesome! 

Zain x Kazuha is such a cute pairing. I like how Zain's pure heart is both sweet and dangerous! I like that they're relatively on the same level! His route was my favorite from the game - just the right amount of sweet, comforting, and yandere-ly bonkers.  
 

• Post-route - How does Zain take over Demento's life? How do he and Kazuha continue their relationship outside of Arcadia? The game glossed over so many interesting ideas! 

• Memories vs. Experience: Demento was nice enough to give Zain all his memories, so Zain won't be a total newb at being a human being, but where does that knowledge end? 

• Talking to Animals:  Zain's Drama CD is a little different from the game--most notably in that the CDs have animals that aren't monsters, and that Zain can actually talk to them. At first he doesn't even realize that Kazuha can't...

Zain x Miseria - Okay, hear me out: this is a crack ship, but wouldn't it be amazing if these two somehow fell for each other? Miseria got dumped by her old boyfriend because she was better at Arcadia than he was, while Zain can't even fight as a NPC--what if she felt obligated to protect him? ("If you're s-scared, just s-stay behind me...") And you know that before he develops insecurities, Zain would innocently admire her strength, too. And if he's prettier and nicer than her boyfriend... well, you could build an initial hook out of that! And then, you know, Zain thinks she should just stay in Arcadia! Forever. And Ever. And Ever...  A much more self-aware scaredy-cat like Miseria encountering a yandere has potential for some really fun scenes, right? :D 

Miseria x Kazuha - If Miseria had a route, what would that be like? Could she help Kazuha train, or be the anti-Libera and totally make for an awkward shopping partner in the market? What would the bad ending be like? 

Fandom: Ikemen Sengoku
Characters: Kenshin and Main Character

Kenshin's route was basically a nonstop joy from start to finish. I've only played the Dramatic Ending so far, but I hope to have finished the Romantic by Christmas so please don't worry. (I...may end up obtaining a copy of the Vita port, too.) 

I love his conversations with MC, how startlingly intimate they are - and I love how blunt she is with him! She's not afraid of the God of War, and it's no wonder he finds her charming. 

(In the manga, her name is Mai, if you want to use a particular name.) 

• Bunnies!  Kenshin's army of bunnies was so delightfully silly. I would love more of those buns. Maybe MC could spy on Kenshin training them to do tricks? 

• Fashion - MC is a fashion designer and a seamstress. Kenshin is super pretty and looks great in suits. The stage is set for her to make something awesome for Kenshin to wear! 

• Bad Ending - Kenshin doesn't have one, but what if he DID? :D 

• Vampire AU - C'mon, cool, elegant, beautiful Kenshin would be a great vampire! He's got all the right self-loathing about not being good for anything but destruction and killing people! Add literal bloodlust into the mix, with his lovely yandere desire to keep MC safe AT ALL COSTS? Alternatively, the MC as a vampire hiding her nature from human Kenshin is an intriguing idea...

• Yandere in Recovery - Eventually, the MC's going to prick her finger or get a papercut or get the sniffles and Kenshin is going to have to DEAL WITH IT like a normal human being. CAN HE DO IT? 

• A Ninja's Guide to Dating a Yandere - I love Sasuke, and I love that he's such a genre-savvy deadpan snarker! I love that he even named Kenshin's Yandere Smile. Anything where Sasuke helps his lord out with MC would be delightful.   

• To the Future - I believe this happens in the Vita port, but--what's your take on Kenshin in the future? I mean, there's so much delightful promise with him saying things like, "If worse comes to worst, I could take over the strongest army in your country to protect you."  (I love him!!)

Fandom: Nameless
Characters: ??? and Eri

I love Nameless, and to me, ???'s comments throughout the game are what really gives it so much power and punch. Even in routes I didn't care for, I had a good time because of that slow, unfolding background creepiness and underlying mystery. I loved his plan, and his concept; other lost dolls and toys would come and go but he waited and waited... ???'s secret route broke my heart (the hug!), and the Black and White Christmas Drama CD broke it AGAIN. 

I also really loved Eri as a protagonist who collects dolls to deal with her grief and loneliness, and I wanted to see her happy and fulfilled. So, I left the game really thirsty for more of these two. 

• Spooky Scary Boyfriend - You know the part in ???'s route where he tells Eri that he's her boyfriend, of course! I cackled and said, YES PLEASE. Anything that explores how he'd really be as a boyfriend outside of the world for just the two of them would be awesome. Black and White Christmas suggests a harem ending where the guys all want to date her. What if she picked ??? over her other dolls? 

• Humans are Weird - So, we know he's stopped trying to toss her off buildings and he's learned more about humans. How much has he learned? How did that go?

• Stuffed Bears Sleep in the Bed - I loved how the BJDs still think of themselves as dolls, and ??? is no different. But still, teddy bears are a little different~ Something directly in the aftermath of the secret ending dealing with him not knowing how to act and what to expect from Eri now that he's living with her again would be fun. Especially if it ends with bed-sharing!

• New Clothes! - He... he can't run around like that forever, right?

• Meet the Parents -  The slow way Eri comes to terms with her parents' shittiness was so painful and good. But there's no confrontation, just acceptance; that's probably for the best, but something that explores the post-route scenario of them finding out she's got so many dudes in her house would be great! Plus, bringing in ??? could make the situation even more interesting, because he's the most noticeably... off.  

• Scary-Go-Round - Dark content exploring the toll his "route" takes on Eri as it goes on and on would excellent. 

• Hey You, behind the screen - I loved it when he threatened the player! A meta-driven fic where he grows increasingly irritable and impatient with an incompetent player would be hilarious. (I can't be the only one who ended up on the Merry-go-round common route bad ending a few times, right?)

• My Scars Are Your Gifts -  Like the Velveteen Rabbit, ??? is  worn out because he was loved by a child! The eyepatch and ragged clothes suggest he could have scars on his human body from her treatment--how does Eri feel about that, later on?
